NO NO NO!!! My tough guy dogue has been "attacked" only by canines wearing clothes...namely a Univ. of Wisconsin sweater(a Pug...lol) and a very nice green onesy wearing American Eskimo. Nice outfits each time btw...;)
Go for it!!! My dogs will never, ever wear anything other than booties to protect their foot pads from sharp rocks and ice or a blaze orange vest during hunting season. WE need bootie improvement, the designs are functional but boring!! In all seriousness good luck, I wish you success..there is undoubtedly a strong market for these goods. cheers e
i dont dress mine personally, would take me half the day to get them all dressed, the other half stopping them from undressing each other! But my son does dress his Beagle sometimes, he bought her some nice Hawiian print shirts
I like the clothes with the clip to hold them in their car seat. I don't have a lap dog, but will be getting one soon. I've been look at different things to use to hold them in their car seats and the harnest looks kinda scary. I don't want to hurt the puppy. So I'm looking for lightweight vest with clips to use when traveling in the car.
Obispo ~ maybe your dog was making fun of their outfits! Just kidding! Really, I'm sorry your dog was attacked at all.
My American Eskimo wears 2T clothes when I want to amuse myself and make him look silly. He has a WVU mascot outfit that is a WVU t-shirt, a blue & gold doggie scarf (from Petsmart) and a pair of Build-A-Bear sunglasses. Once I put a pair of Build-A-Bear bpxers on him and rolled on the floor laughing. He was so cute! That pic is on his dogster page. For Halloween, I dressed him and myself up as a fairy and her fairy dog. He didn't complain but my son's sure did!
I think you should do t-shirts with cute sayings. Make sure you have them available in all sizes since people with big dogs like to have fun too!
At the moment, t-shirts with cute sayings are my main design. From what I know they SHOULD fit most large dogs (the "model" is a Pit Bull type). I've looked into it, and they're made of material more durable than most store bought tees. So not only good enough for play, but winter wear as well. Can anyone think of sayings to put on? I make $6.00 in profits by August 3 or it is closed (I can't afford to pay the monthly rate). Any/all suggestions are welcome. Brutally honest thoughts on the layout, ideas for advertising? (I've submitted the site to a lot of search engines) (ONCE AGAIN: NOT ADVERTISING BUT SEEKING THOUGHTS/OPINIONS) www.cafepress.com/ilcaneboutique
I have 5 dogs ranging from 4 lbs to 55 lbs. I use custom made harness shirts for the 4 lb poms, they come in all colors and design of material. Plus they have the leash hook so I can hook them in their car seats and on their leashes so they don't get pulled on at the neck. I hava a friend who makes them. I put t-shirts on my lhasas. And I can't find any cute things for the big dogs. Bassett hound and boxer I agree with TELOULOUY20. Make things for bigger dogs too. My bassett loves to wear clothes. So I end up making her outfits. All there is out there for big dogs are UGLY.. UGLY.. clothes. My bassett and boxerX are female and everything out there is for Male dogs and all generic looking. Don't for get the Big Girls and Guys.
