Unless the dogs being bred were outstanding examples that are finished AKC registered dogs with Champion titles, I would avoid that breeder like the plague. In fact, even IF they were both finished champions, I'd still probably avoid the breeder.
When you do a close inbreeding you need a reason. You also need to know your dogs, and frankly I'd never do it with outcrossed dogs, only something with a pedagree I knew.
You improve your chances of having LOVELY puppies, and you improve your chances of bring up recessive stew.
When know your line it comes out well, but its not something you do just because.
I'm a firm beliver in inbreeding and I will probably do it myself in the future (I have a preticular outcross planned, and anyways its complicated) but its not something you do just because, and not knowing the lines behind teh dogs I wouldn't go near it.
I hope this is a joke.... What kind of GOOD breeder would have the mother and father of the litter be Brother and sister?? i guess if they had like super champion lines? maybe not..Wont they be born with all kinds of health problems? i guess it would be Ok if they new what they were doing but otherwise i'd stay away
