HorseLover: I just looked at your dogster page and if you think she is pregnant, and if you are not going to get her aborted or spayed, then you need to get her off of the Old Roy puppy food and get her on something that is more nutritional.
Old Roy brand food is certainly not a high quality food and if she is carrying, plus she herself is growing, she needs a better diet.
Someone else can recommend some alternative dog foods, I am sure. I cringed when I noticed the Old Roy puppy food entry.
Also, if she has a dog kennel, she should be inside the kennel when you are not out to watch her. Even if you just go in the house for 5 or 10 minutes, put her in the kennel. If you are outside and believe that you can give her your complete attention, then let her out to play. Otherwise, if she is in heat, it would be advisable to keep her in the kennel. You are playing with her life here, not just the lifes of any potential pups she may be carrying.
I just don't get it. One minute you want to get rid of your dog and get a smaller one. The next there is a stray mix visiting, who is a male and you think yours may be pregnant. Now, she's not pregnant. I am sorry if you don't like what I am saying, but come on! Take the poor thing to the vet and get her spayed, it's not that hard. I know you said you are only what 13, tell your mother she needs to get her to the vet!
JustPuppyLove, the BARF Diet is Bones and Raw Food
Such as raw chicken, beef, pork, fish, and eggs. Raw veggies that are okay for dogs like carrots, celery, spinach, and broccoli. Supplements like vitamin e, cod oil, flax seed oil, and vitamin c. Plain Yogurt is one of my favorites.
