My pup just got over Parvo thanks to a home remedy that I found. I really thought that I was going to lose him because he is so small (2 pounds) and I could not afford the $1500 that the vet wanted. If your pup has Parvo and you cannot afford treatment, I may be able to help. Please email me.
He is probably talking about parvaid or parvoguard. I see posts like these pop up all the time trying to push that stuff.
I tired parvaid few months ago on 2 pups with parvo. They both made it, but I have no idea if it was because of the parvaid or because of the more conventional treatment of antibiotics and fluids I have administered at the same time. Either way, I guess it can’t hurt if you are desperate.
I had a puppy that had Parvo unfortunetly she didn't make it. I was paying about $300.00 a day. This included the vet in the day and at night I had to transefer her to the emergency. This went on for 4 days.
“Cricket” survived Parvo… I give immense credit to my vet! Who stayed late and came in early to care for her. Cost .. while I would have refied my home to pay for it… if the need arouse… was about 700.00. She was hospitalized for 9 days total. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was something on Animal Planet where a lady's dog had parvo. She did not have the money to pay for treatment, so they tried some new type of cheaper treatment (never heard what it was) and the dog survived. Did anyone else catch that show?
She also had some pups that ended up dying but the dog with parvo recovered.
My sister's puppy had parvo and it cost me about $800 to treat.
I had gotten the puppy for my sister as a gift because I knew she wanted one so I felt bad for getting her a sick puppy so I offered to pay for the vet. Not only did his "breeder" sell a puppy that was about to die of parvo, she also never sent his AKC papers.
