Bowen, when allowed on the bed, alternates between the foot of the bed near the SO's feet and taking his pillow when he gets out of the bed. On the couch, he always has his shoulders/head either on the pillow or blanket/throw. I think it's so funny. I guess they just like that 'shoulder/head' prop
i would gladly buy them their own pillow if it meant they would not use me as a head rest. no matter what or who they are sleeping with they use our bodies as a pillow. i dont care really if they do use us but it makes me feel awfully guilty if i have to move because then i disturb them. damn spoiled brats that they are LOL.
How about waking up at 3:30 am yesterday morning to Harley trying to dig the sheets back right in front of my face so he could get warm??? (We had the ceiling fan on and it was a little chilly) Pulled up the sheets and he hunkered down and of course head on pillow and fell asleep! lol
I especially love it when I wake up and he's molded up against my hubbys bum... he must throw some heat!
My dog, Annie [Chi x Silky Terrier], when it's bedtime, she jumps on my bed and curls up in a little ball on my pillow. I ask her to move and she scoots over just enough so I can put my head on the pillow.
When I wake up in the morning, she's usually curled around my head with her muzzle resting on my forehead. She's so cute! She just steals my heart! :) <3
When I walk her by the local hotel, people always offer me money to buy her! The only thing is, I cried when my salamander died... I don't think I could bear selling my beautiful dog...
i finally gave in and gave moose his own pillow, and boy does he know it is his. it sits on the floor next to my side of the bed with one of my old sweatshirts for a pillowcase and i dare you to try and move it, even just an inch, he gets awfully cranky! =) he knows it's his and knows right where he wants it
Icyhound....."ONLY" 60 lbs?!?!?! lol When my 25lb dog lays on me, I feel like I can't breath or move....couldn't imagine my 60lb dog laying on me!
The only furniture the dogs are allowed on in the house is the bed...and they use that to their full advantage. I have a towel at the end of the bed, which Nikko lay on, but every day...I catch ChiChi laying right on top of DH's pillow....so when he wakes up in the morning....I laugh at him saying that he's becoming an old man because he has so many gray hairs (which are just white dog hairs that have stuck to his hair).
My rottie used to sleep on the bed with me. She started out near the foot of the bed, but somehow ended up sleeping beside me on MY pillow every single night. I didn't mind. I actually thought it was cute. Last winter I let a stray cat inside for the night (too cold) and she even felt the need to sleep on the pillow above my head *silly animals I tell ya*
Hi i just joined the forum. I have 3 dogs - a yellow lab who is 8 years old (Saba), and 2 shichons Miko and Sosi and they are 2 years old. I love my boys. Saba is a good dog, Miko is Miko Comico, and Sosi is my sweetheart. The two little ones love to cuddle and sleep right next to us, sometimes right on my stomach. When they aren't sleeping on the bed or couch they love their pillows and roll up into balls.
