My 3 english bulldogs eat purina pro plan for sensitive skin and stomachs. And they are doing great on it too. They all were eating Nutro the one for the sensitive stomachs but they didnt do so well on it. And I had tried Mason on several different kinds of foods such as the wellness fish and sweet potato which gave him runny stools and he also had tried the science diet ultra ZD from the vet and he also had runny stools with that and so far he has not had any since he has been on this food and he actually hasnt had hives with this food yet either which he had with all the other foods so far im happy with this food it might not be the greatest food but my dogs do good on it and thats all that matters to me.

AAFCO: The small milled fragments of rice kernels that have been separated from the larger kernels of milled rice.
A processed rice product that is missing many of the nutrients contained in whole ground rice and brown rice. Contrary to what many pet food companies want to make you believe, this is not a high quality ingredient, just much cheaper than whole grain rice.
I try to switch up every few bags, but I go with a high quality human grade kibble twice a day. Last couple months it was Flint River Ranch, a couple of days ago I bought a bag of Chicken Soup for the next few months.
Once a week I do a fresh food meal. Boiled chicken, turkey, or beef with green beans, carrots, and peas, or different veggie combinations. Lots of spinach when we are growing it in the garden. And I sprinkle powdered egg shells on there for calcium. Then I add hot water and mush it all together to form a warm icky looking mush. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v132/shinyblackpit/100_2122.jpg

Well, this is my own thread so I will go ahead and answer my own question!
I feed my dog Nutro Natural Choice Lamb Meal and Rice. She used to be fed Ol' Roy but after doing months of research about her seizures I put her on less grain diet. I wish I could feed something as good as Innova Evo but it is VERY expensive and the nearest store is two hours away.
I feed my female chocolate lab a combination of Nutro Natural Choice and Ultra Puppy. She is doing very well on Nutro. Now if my chocolate lab was going to make a choice between Nutro and Wellness, I'd have to say that Wellness would come out as the winner. I tried 3 samples of Wellness with her and she gobbled it up quickly. Perhaps, she loves the flavors of Wellness food more than her Nutro Ultra.
I feel that Wellness ingredients have better nutritional value than other foods. Wellness has not only good meat and fish, but also fresh fruits like blueberries and apples and fresh vegetables such as peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. There are no meat by-products, no rendered chicken and lamb fat, no wheat, no corn, no soy, and no white rice. Also, Wellness has no artificial colors and flavorings, plus no chemical preservatives.
I know that the cost of Nutro NC Ultra and Wellness are similar. Hershey still has a lot left of her Nutro Ultra. I plan probably to switch her over to Wellness once she gets low on Nutro Ultra because of how much she loved her Wellness sample foods.
We just tried The Blue Buffalo Companys- BLUE brand dog food. That is almost done though, we are down to scraping the bottom of the bag pretty much. Next, we have a bag of (Old Mother Hubbards) Wellness- Fish and Sweet Potato to try and see which they like better.
l gave my puppy samples of Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato Formula, Wellness Super5Mix Chicken, and Wellness Super5Mix Lamb. She loved them all. I like the fact that there is Glucosamine Chondroitin in the Wellness Super5Mix of chicken and lamb dog foods. They also have fish in them. I'm not sure yet which Wellness I will feed to Hershey once she runs low on Nutro Ultra. All I know is that I think she loves Wellness better than Nutro Ultra. Hopefully when I change her over to Wellness that she'll be as healthy as she is now on Nutro or perhaps even healthier.

I was feeding my babies Nutro also and now I've had them on Wellness 5mix(purple bag) and they are much better especially their coats. Tita's (black toy poodle) coat is so beautiful, it looks like satin.
I recommend that you first try a small bag of any food to see how it works for your dog. Just because a certain food works great for some other dog doesn't necessarily mean it will be good for your own dog.
