Welcome Brook. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Just reminded you as Mafia did that typing in caps indicates shouting. We are all here to learn about dogs and cats. TP is a wonderful forum website. I know that I have learned a lot about puppies.

Brook, how old is this puppy you found? I'm a very new puppy owner as well and haven't had to feed a newborn puppy. I do know one thing that a newborn puppy not fed by its mother requires dropper or bottle feeding until it's mature to eat on his/her own. Although, I'm not 100% sure if you give the puppy formula like you give to a baby. That's my guess! Check with a veterinarian on what to feed the puppy. Now if it's around 6 weeks old, than dry dog food slightly moistened is OK.
