I plan on getting her into more obediance classes, as the vet office where the actual good ones are held is only a block away, but I was wondering what she should know and be able to do and not do if I were to take her to Marion General Hospital, where I am a candy striper?
Of course, I'm only thinking of doing this when she is much older, and housetrained, and not afraid of new people as much.

Neha- look up Delta Dogs online. They are an organization that you can become a member of to do therapy work with your dog. They have certain requirements you have to meet. It's something I've always been interested in doing too. I think its a great way to help people. I know basic obedience is required and I think to become a Delta Dog you have to pass certain tests. What kind of dog do you have again?
The type of dog I have? LOL, I wish I copuld answer exactly... some kind of poodle bichon mix? something along those lines, I'm not exactly sure, but whens shes full grown, she'll most likely be around 15lbs.
I would suggest checking with the Hospital and see what they require. We have several in our area and they don't all require the same. Some require Delta and some only require something, not sure of the whole name (I will try to get it for you) Good Citizen something somthing.
