My puppy is 11 weeks old and I got her 8 days ago. I have read that dogs will not pee in their crate. But Kenzie has peed in her crate about 4 or 5 times. It has never been overnight but more at random times. The last time was a couple days ago. Is this normal? Or should they really abolsutely not pee in there?
If you got her from a store or a place she was kept in a crate then it is just from her thinking its what she is supposed to do. You just have to catch it and clean as soon as possible. Get her used to liking to be clean.
Yes, I do agree with what Joyce says. Another problem may be that her crate is too big. What kind of pup is she how much room does she have in the crate? How much time is she spening in her crate as well? Do you keep food and water in her crate? If you do, remove it.
She needs to be taken outside immediately upon waking up from a nap, immediately after eating, playing and just about every half hour to 45 minutes when she isn't in her crate. She is still very young, so she' not going to be able to hold her bladder for long periods of time.

Try taking any bedding out of the crate. My puppy used to pee in his crate everytime we left the house (never at ANY other time and no matter how short the time he was left). On the advice of our trainer, I took the blanket and padding out of his crate. He peed once and had to stand in it...never peed in there again. It's worth a try.
Yes i can idetify with what yor delema is I have a 5 mth old bulldog puppy imported from Russia and NO matter what I do she pees at night!!! IF I leave her out I have a doggie door they have access 24/7 (I have 3) she will pee in the house at night all the time ( maybe shes afraid of the dark LOL) if i put her in the puppy playpen she will pee on the newspaper if i put her in her crate she peees and ROLLS in it !!!!! If i leave her in the kitchen she will pee on the FLOOR!!!!!!!!! Dont know what to do the other 2 dont do that !!!!!!!!! Its frusrating!!!
Yea my puppy did that once, I took him out right before it too and he went, i guess he still had to go. You should take her out very often cause you can't always predict a puppy. Try giving her water at certain times and keep track of when she goes so its easier to follow a schedual. But im an ammiture so i may be wronge.
