Good Luck! Unless you have a dog on the other side, I think you'll never keep the cat in. I've had cats all my life and no matter what, they always want to go out and sniff around, roll in the dirt, and eat grass..... and eventually come in the house and barf it up!!
how about making her an outside cage. thats what im doing for my cats, my bf is going to build a frame and we are going to put chicken wire on it, and put a couple of shelves and an outdoor liter box with a cat walk that leads to the cat door. this way they can go outside and be safe but still have fun.
we went through a stage with our cat. he howled and carried on to get outside. he actually got out through a screen that wasnt secured tight in my daughters room. i walked in just to see the end of his tail. by the time i got to the front door he was on the porch and ran right in. lol .i had a spray bottle filled with water on the stand by the door. when he got close to the door , he got sprayed. now he rarely comes near the door and when he sees us going towards the door, he takes off ! lol
