My 17 week old puppy goes into my vedgetable garden and pulls down pieces of the plant with the vedgetables still attached. I found half eaten bell peppers. She also dragged a zucchini thats as big as her in the house. Are bell pepers bad for dogs? I covered them with netting and she still manages to get the bell peppers. I'm going to put up a gate this weekend. I just hope I still have vegtables by then.

It's ok my uncials dog will go into his garden and pull the watermelon flip it over a 3 1/2 ft gate roll them up a hill and fling it down the other side of the hill so they break open then he will eat them. One day there was no more watermelon and the dog was covered in juice and his tummy was so big it was funny but now my uncial has a noise maker that will scare the dog.
My husband called me yesturday and said my puppy Mia ate a jalapeno. I can't even eat one without adding it to a salsa. When I got home I put my baby pen up as fencing. Thank god it worked. She's very smart it will be a couples of days before figours how to get through it. I'll be putting stakes in the ground to hold everything in place this weekend.
to do a cheap fix you can put up stakes adn snow fencing- the plastic stuff they use on highways, usually orange...unless you think she'll chew thru plastic. if so, you ca porobably frnce in your garden with wire and stakes for under $50 depending on how big your garden is. a 3' roll of wire fencing and 4' stakes should be under $50.
