aesparza Get his 6 generation pedigree. He looks a little like a hemphill-wilder dog to me. His ears, build and look. A lot of people assume if a dog has a red nose its from OFRN line which is far from the truth but he does have that look. And sometimes they can look like they may be from a bloodline but be totally different from that line. Thats just my guess on him though. But you can order his 6 gen ped from the ADBA and figure out what bloodlines he is. http://a2.cpimg.com/image/D0/FE/33212112-70e3-00BB00EB-.jpg

aesparza, your baby looks soo sweet...all of them do actually...when my bf and i were at the local SPCA i saw what seemed to be a lab/pit mix it was black with a lil white on it's chest, the ears flopped over like your babies' do, and it has the coat of a lab they didn't call it a pit...they called it something else...though when i asked about it they said that it was the same breed just the other name was the proper name for pits, and a lot of people don't know that. do you know what the name is? i can't rememeber.
Pit bulls are known as american pit bull terriers they look similiar to american staffordshire terriers but two distinct breeds. I have heard that somed shelters will use lab mix for a pit/lab just to keep breed discrimination from being an issue when the dog needs a home.
