If anyone knows what, freight, airline, train, etc... is the cheapest, PLEASE tell me. I am purchasing a dog from a family that lives in Fort Lewis Washington and I live in Clearfield Pennsylvania. This is the first time I think for both of us and we need some help finding the cheapest and safest way to get Miko from point A to point B. If you have any suggestions, please help!!!!!!

American Airlines is $100, but the person with the dog has to have a shot record for rabies, and the dog has to have a health certificate from the vet saying it can fly. The certificate is about $40. You also have to have a crate that american airlines will accept. You can go to aa.com and look at pets traveling and they tell you everything you need to know. Congrates on the dog!!!

I live in WA and all three of my sibes were shipped to me on Northwest Air. Riki came from MO. Romi came from MN and Raja came from SD by was of MN. The price is determined by the crate size or weight. How big is the dog? Raja was a 4 month old Siberian Husky in aa medium to large crate weighing about 30# and was $224.00 from MSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul) to SEA (Seattle/Tacoma). The people at the Cargo terminal for Northwest were great.

Depending on the age and the size of your dog, look at spending around 100 to 200 dollars. Also make sure you know the correct crate requierments and the health certificate can not be less then 10 days old.
