My dogs love to chew on ice. Usually, when they come him from outside, seems to cool them faster than drinking a bowl of water. Never had a problem with them breaking teeth, most of the ice we give is small sized.
this might sound weird....but i've had a habit of eating ice for years now, my pup eats it as well....as for problems? I think that your dog has more of a chance of getting hit by a car than getting problems from eating ice. But thats just my opinion.
I can't find that site. I must have been dreaming or something. It's making me crazy. Everything else I read now says it's good for them. So go ahead and keep serving it up! As for people chewing ice- that is a sign of anemia (iron deficiency). That requires a blood test to prove, but is usually a good sign along with pale gums, fatigue, craving weird things such as paint or dirt, etc.
