I know this is a dog message board, but I have a question regarding animal cruelty to cats. This lady in a neighborhood I visit often rescues feral cats and kittens, and they are taken care of, yet are allowed to roam free a bit. The problem is a neighbor of this lady does not appreciate the cats/kittens entering her yard and defecating on their property. So this evil person has started setting out bowls of antifreeze (probably at night), and at least one kitten has died because of it. This is horrible, and while I don't know for sure who the culprit is, I intend on finding out and reporting hte crime. Does anyone know of a humane law enforcement agency I could report this horrific crime to in the Myrtle Beach, SC area? Also, what penalty does this perp face? I hope the penalty is stiff. Jail time would be great, but I'm sure that won't happen. Why do people do this evil stuff?
