Messy bones with that sticky sauce. They have an automatic ball thrower. You will have to teach tsion to put the ball back in the hole and push the button but man it's fun. You can give him kongs filled with messy yogurt and such. Kid pools are fun.
We have tennis balls, and just some plain ol rope toys outside too. Kiba also LOVES soccer balls.. believe it or not she has killed one of them and loves to play with the carcass.
Though her favorite game is to just play in the leaves, and have us "fight" and chasing each other. She is on a 50' rope when she's outside so I can always get to her. Works really well when we were teaching the come command in a big back yard.
Hahaha... I try to keep Rileys outside toys outside... and inside toys inside.... he mixes them all up. I've found it's not worth it lol. But inside toys are like stuffed toys and ropes, outside are balls and plastic toys.. things that won't get too dirty.
If I let Merphy out at night, he has to take one of his inside toys out with him. I just wish he'd learn to bring it back in with him. I have to go out with him now. The coyotes are back. Tonight one of them jumped the fence to get into the main part of the back yard. Man I want my Mastiff back, they would never do that with 220 pounds of muscle back there!
But as far as outside toys, Merphy's right there with Riley, makes no difference. I pick up at least three of his inside toys from outside every day.
Heather, Riley also takes a toy everytime he goes outside. The boy always has a toy in his mouth. Every weekend I go outside with a laundry basket and pick up his inside toys, I usually fill that darn thing up too. Right now there is a cute little stuffed green toy he got from his trainer sitting in the middle of the driveway.. its head is on the lawn lol

Yes he does. It's so funny because when he has a toy in his mouth, you can't see the rest of his face, he just looks like a big ball of fuzz with a huge pink, blue and green caterpillar jumbled up in it, and running at full speed. It's really cute, I'll have to get a picture of it sometime. He has little toys, but he always prefers the ones that are about as big as him.
lol, Riley prefers toys he can destroy. He takes his huge paws and holds the toy, then proceeds to rip the head off, take the stuffing out and spit it out of his mouth, then move on to the rest of the body. He stole my one toy from when I was a kid, it was a stuffed dog with a jacket and shorts, he took the shorts and jacket off, ripped off the tail then the head, took the stuffing out, now runs around with a naked flat toy lol.
Merphy is not quite 16 pounds. While he is very muscular for his size, he can only tear apart paper and foam, which he also loves to do. He has a new found love for plastic bags, which I am trying to fix real quick, and he loves eucalyptus bark, which makes it hard for him to breath. And licking feet!
i have tennis balls all over our backyard. harley loves them . my dogs are indoor dogs, but when i take them out, they do their thing and then head straight for the balls. they love playing fetch, they just dont like coming all the way back with them. they will come back but lay down just out of reach and take off when i come towards them. then the games changes to "keep away". lol
Scarydog, i use to have a problem with the come command too . you want to know why? b/c i was teaching my dog to come so i could make him come inside ,once he caught on to it he wouldn't come lol.. so when i join in with you guys i had learn so much when calling your dog to come- give a little treat. well i did it and now he comes when i tell him too.with or without the treat but to be honest he really wants the treat lol.. lol..
