www.petfinder.com thats where I found my perfect rottweiler, and 2 cocker spaniels. Would you like a puppy or does it matter? Do you want male or female does it need to be good with cats or dogs or kids?? does it have to be housebroke? will you allow a home visit? how much do you want to pay? where do you live,i need the abbreviations.
So sorry about your loss, that is never easy, our pets are family members and it is hard to loss one. When you are ready for another member please go to your nearest shelter or if you have a PetSmart they have animals on the weekends that different groups bring in to adopt out. ours has one weekend Second Chance come in and the next weekend the Humane Society brings pets in. It is fun to see the pups and you can interact with the animals and see how they react to you and to having strangers and other distractions and of course it is always exciting to see a family adopt one of these pets and taking it home. Good luck.
Are you looking for another Rottweiler or a different breed this time? Size, excercise needs, grooming requirements, temperament, your household....ie children, ages of them, etc are all factors in choosing a dog. More info on you would help in making suggestions.
