This isn't mine this is my moms but i was reading this stuff. In my opinion I think that what you are doing with these little puppies are great. All I can say is make sure that you pay enough attention to them, make sure that there arent any small children around the puppies if then tend to bite but your probably know this already. So this is just some hopefully helpful advice from a 14 year old trying to help you. So good luck with everything and keep us posted. :)
Thanks all for your support. I'll keep you posted on how they are doing. I'm sure it will take time. You have all given me much hope for their future. It breaks my heart to see these little guys so afraid of people. I hope I can show them that some of us deserve their trust. Willow...it is sarcoptic mange, but what my vet gave me is Frontline spray. Must completely spray them down once a week for 3 weeks. She never mentioned ivermectin, but from internet research I see that is what usually is used. I'm going to call vet back today and ask her about it. Scout -- I am very hopeful that I am not too late, but if it comes to that...be assured that they will go to my vet. Update: Great news ! This morning, one of the puppies DID eat from my hand. She would not come out of her shelter, but did take food from me when I put my hand in there ! Baby steps.
