I don't think I am going to put the name of the exact area because some people on here google other peoples names and recently we had someone put someone elses personal information including phone number, address etc....
I wish I lived in a nicer area like you do though :( I haven't lived here all my life I am at heart a New Englander. I've only been here for three years.
Soon we will be moving out of this awful area and buying a house hopefully *crosses fingers*
We have 1/2 acre and our backyard is at least half that, if not more. The girls love to chase each other around the yard. We also have a dog run so they can be secure when we aren't home. Raja doesn't seem to grasp this concept and is now crated when we are gone. She kept escaping the dog run and would then dig under the fence. She was popping in and out of our yard all day long. Fortunately, she has taken the crate very well. Wish we would get some snow. I don't know how they well react, but it should be fun to watch.
Wolf your dogs are so gorgeous. And I'm sure they're going to love the snow...what husky doesn't?? :)
Mine are still rolling and jumping around in the snow from last Friday. They just love to get out there and dig holes in the snow and lay down in it. (ALthough most of it is frozen and has ice covering it)
Glad to say Echo has never tried to escape...and although he is a unneutered male....he just ignores the drive to go out "Hunting :)"....he rather be by my side. There's times the gate accidentally got left open and there he is sitting in the yard or on the deck. Clearly he just chose not to leave. And I know you shouldn't...but we let him walk with us without a leash and he stays two steps in front and looks back every now and again to make sure I'm still there. Sometimes we joke him and let him get ahead and then run in the opposite direction. He loves that...chasing us down :) Peyton is really coming along....she's no Echo...but darn near close. Learns fast and is so good with housebreaking. She's even to the point with crate training that she goes out and as soon as she comes back in she walks right into her crate. I couldn't ask for a better dog/puppy.
