Beware I have never heard of the daisy puppy but teddy bear puppies are wonderful little crossbreed. I am getting on to go with my 9 month old shih tzu. You should look at the website here these are the people who started the orginal teddy bear breed. They are from Grisham Wisconsin and even have the patent for this breed. I have talked with them tonight about getting mine. look at the site will answer any question you may have.

I thought Teddy Bear and Daisy were a style of grooming. I like the Teddy Bear cut more. I had the Daisy done to Merphy once, and he looked like a cocker spaniel or King Charles Cavalier. Don't get me wrong, I like those dogs, but Merphy's just not one of them.
Thanks for saying that we can get one from the pound but how do you go about doing that when we don't know what kind of mix the teddy bear or the daisy is. Can someone with the answer ...please let us know.
This website will tell you why you can not find out what the teddybear crossbreed is but if you are really wanting to know contact Renee on the site she will let you know in a round about way. She is the lady who invented the breed and has patent on it

No need to be rude, scarydog. I suggested going to the pound or a mixed rescue group to inquire about available dogs. To find out what the difference between the two is simply look it up online. I looked it up and the two are supposedly the same thing.
I don't think anyone was being rude....someone was just wanting to know what the difference was and wanting to know what they were a mix of...I'm kinda curious too....all that needs to be said is it's a mix of this breed and this breed....:-)
I actually checked out the website that abby provided over and over and it does not say what the mix is. I was not trying to be rude but how on earth do we find one at the pound if we don't know what it is. You said find one at the pound....ok find what. LOL If you go on petfinder.com you can't type in teddy bear or daisy..it's not recognized. You won't get a list of dogs. So if anyone out there actually has the answer ...please let us know.
scarydog, I know the site doesn't tell you exactly what the breed teddy bear dog is. But if you read the website and contact Renee she will give you the answer see she is the one that started this breed. She has a patent on it and only she can reveal to you what the two breeds actually are like she did to me but I promised her I would not tell anyone. Loyality I guess to my future puppie breeder.
