lol..yeah he sure is cute!! Thank You...but all the other pups in his litter are smooth coat like they are supposd to be..all but him and the runt (which died) are furry...his paws arn't big enough to be akita..i don't know...any other ideas floating out there?
Thanks for the feed back everyone...i talked to a breeder and they said he just has puppy fur and some cattle dog's have that when thier this young...esspecially cause he was an outside pup born all the way up till 6 weeks...thanks again :)
One of My heeler dogs does sometimes have a bit of a curl to her tail. Her sister has more of a curl. Their ears stood up young too. They are purebred but I believe their lines actually have more dingo in them. My other two look like little german shepherds and they have a thick tail with no curl... The one whose sister has the curl looks like a little dingo now that she is an adult and you can see she's smaller pawed and has funny shoulders (When she's on her back we call it rigomortous sp.? pup) My sister actually owns her sister and that is the one with a real curl..
My father-in-law had a dingo/blue heeler mix for years and I think some of those had curls but they came from somewhere where it was usually customary to dock tails.. But he looked like my red heeler comformation wise but was just a different color..
Did you see the parents? From what I can tell of pics I think it is safe to assume your pup is all ACD heeler. Also there are some variations of type same as any breed depending on where they come from.. Also as the pup gets older you will definiely be able to tell as they are quite unique acting!!
