my pom stitch and greatdane vix just love eachother and always want to play when stitch goes out for his walks. Stitch has a really bad habbit of just stopping in his tracks and laying down to hide so he can pounce Vix. I'm worried that vix may not see him and step on him. My moms poms will run in and out from undernieth vix they are super fast, but stitch doesn't. So should i not let them play together or can i teach stitch to not try to bed down to pounce (he is used to pounceing and playing with the cat!..lol)
Dogs are very aware of thier soroundings.. I don't think you need to be worried.. when my poodle was just 9 weeks old my mom was out on walk with her and she accidently kicked the pup in the head.. Misha (the pup) just kept walking as though nothing had happends but my mom limped home.. *hehe*
My pup played with a dane when she was little.. sure she got smacked around a bit.. but she never got hurt a little bruised, but nothing serious. But I always supervized as well.. probably the only thing to do..
I think it would be okay, just as long as you supervise them. My neighbor has 2 great danes, and one is a puppy. Sometimes the older one would trip over the younger one and the younger one would yelp :(.
