Problem with a breeder in Washington

I assume that the moderators have ended a discussion started by Rosemopar with regards to a problem she had with a specific breeder in Graham, Washington. I urge you, Rosemopar, to come back and tell us what exactly your issues were without mentioning names of breeders etc. What were your concerns? This is a discussion forum and we should be able to assist you! Is your dog sick? What do you need help with? I realize that you are new to the forum.

I do believe that you have important information to share. There are those of us who have been in your shoes. If this forum won't allow you to speak,there is a Great Dane forum that you can post under the subject "Any Breed Other Than Danes" . Go to * .com. If you choose that route please do not post her name--BELIEVE me, people on that forum will know exactly who you are talking about and can offer you suggestions as well as direction.

For the most part she is just looking for other people that have had dealing with this so called breeder.

She knows of some, but they need a few more people to make a stronger case and bring harsher charges.

Otherwise as it stands right now they only have enough people to go to small claims. If they get more then they can take here a higher court.

She can contact me. I have dealt with the breeder and sued her successfully! How can we connect each other? I have a lot of info to share. Can I leave an email address here on this forum for Rosemopar to contact me?

I assume the previous post was deleted. It's a shame because lovetoshow was defending the breeder and stated that "a show quality Saint Bernard" was a part of the problem. Funny that that statement was made as the breeder in question does not show dogs nor the puppies that she sells are AKC registered. Her breeding bitch is only registered with the Continental Kennel Club.

As always lots of loopholes with the breeder and the 6 people that are currently beginning to figure the game out can now be added to a very very long list!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that I would be very suspect of the posts that were made by:

dusty082155 ( who doesn't care who gets scammed apparently- unless it happens to THEM I suppose) , perhaps it would be WISE to not make assumptions of anyone, right???? How the heck could you POSSIBLY know that rosepar was not scammed by this breeder... are you Psychic??? Glad you checked out the "breeder's" website and you thought it looked great... you could have ended up in the same position as alot of people, thinking the website "looked good- so it must be". NOW go check this out if you REALLY want to know...

( the BBB is merely a moderator though and could not do anything, they, as well as the St Attorney Gen office, recommended assistance from an attorney...)

lovetoshow ( who very well could be the BREEDER in question, since it is known that the breeder DOES/DID belong to various message boards, and then goes by alias's...so go figure.

The breeder has not been honest before, so it is within the realm of reason to suspect that she DID scam Rosepar, and then told "lovetoshow" some coverup story to make herself sound like the victim.....

cakenmore - you might want to take into consideration that dusty lives very near if not in Graham, WA and may actually know the breeder in question. And has always been very supportive to people looking to purchase or who have been scammed. She actually purchased one of her babies from overseas ( I believe it was). Maybe it was a miscommunication.

Hi Nik!
Its just so sad that this person can keep selling puppies...Great Danes, Saint Bernards, Chihuahuas/Chinese Crested, Bulldogs, and Bloodhounds now...and of course she has a new Horse website,and is selling horses too.

We've been at this for over 2 years now ( can you believe that!) and its frustrating to hear of more people getting hurt or scammed. I have learned of 2 new people having problems in just the last month!

The hope is that eventually, things will catch up with her, and she will just QUIT breeding animals period.
I am glad that Kim has been hanging out here at TerrificPets and ran across Rose... Hopefully she sees this new thread.

Thanks for sticking up for Rose :) Perhaps the other 2 will look into things a little more....

Wolf- It honestly didn't seem like a miscommunication on the original thread... this was her comment;
"i dont believe this rosemopar person was even scammed. i checked out their site and it looks like a really good place. this rosemopar comes here ( this is her first post ) and post about supposedly being scammed. why here ? its not like shes a regular member here that anyone would know or even believe."

I grew up in Puyallup, which is right next to Graham. I viewed the website of the breeder 2 and half years ago and bought a pup( who ended up dying of heart failure at 8 months old). The website was alot nicer, less suspious looking and not as vague as it is now. Rosemopar was looking for help, looking for someone else that had experienced trouble. Not to be called a liar by someone that didn't know what she was talking about. If Dusty lives down the street from this breeder or 'knows' the breeder, she should very well know what has been happening out there in her "backyard".
I don't doubt that Dusty is a nice person but
hopefully Dusty is willing to check out the links, and ask some serious questions about breeders in her area before she automatically defends them over some stranger to honor the No-Bashing code.

She said yesterday in chat that some of them are trying to get a website up about her.

So maybe they can find even more people who have had run in with her.

Also just to get the word out to prospective buyers. So may the same thing won't happen to them.

okay. i will clarify myself again. for the third time. i do not know the kennel in question. i did check out their site. they have an address listed. they live a few miles from me. i am sorry if anyone is scammed. i only have a problem with people not following the rules. admin themselves came here not long ago and specifically stated that he wanted no breeder/breed bashing. i took it that he meant all breeders. coming here and naming a specific kennel is bashing to me. clearly against the rules. thats all i was getting at.

furthermore. i do not condone anyone being cheated and scammed. period. and i take offense that i was accused of that. i just dont know both sides. i have not heard from the site owner to know her side. i like to hear both sides before forming an opinion.

so go ahead and start bashing me. i dont care. but do it because i believe in following the rules and not because you think i believe that it is okay to scam people. because i dont.

Hey, I'm not trying to bash you. I did however Quote you from the original thread, and my interpretation of your comment was that you thought the original poster was making a false statement to Bash a breeder. Did I misunderstand the comment you made??? Clarifying your statement about just "Following the Rules"... is one thing. (I don't think we missed that, so you don't have to really clarify it again.) Calling someone a liar is another subject though...

I agree with you, breeder bashing is against the rules. Fraud, Harassment, Breach of Contract, Breach of Warranty, Extortion, and violating the Consumer Protection Act are against the "rules" too.
Thank you for saying you don't condone scamming... I really didn't think you did tho. But your comment saying that you didn't think the poster was really scammed was like salt on the wound in my opinion.

There are people all over the country that have been hurt by this "breeder"...Several of us successfully brought a suit against her.

lang and i were in chat last night and rose came in and she did mention and i did tell her to post on the board but i did tell her to watch and follow the rules...i know we all hate to hear of another scam...or a case of abuse or neglect steming from a breeder...I too hope she comes back to tell her side...but there are rules...and no one ahould be upset that we all need reminding once in a while...please tell your side rose...

i just went through a similar situation with the russian breeder/friend that we got our female french bulldog from. i am one of her references. i always ask to be told if they recieved their pup and was it healthy? were they satisfied ? i have made many new friends with the new owners. never have i recieved a negative reply about any of her puppies. i have got many inquiries from people looking to purchase a puppy from her. she emailed one day and i could tell that she really upset. someone had posted some really nasty and untrue things about her. she had no idea whom the poster even was. the site admin removed it. they had specifically targeted the russian and uk breeders. she was falsly slammed and was very hurt by it. so i am just leary of people posting about breeder scams, when i dont know all the facts. i saw what it did to my breeder -friend.

Hey Shelley or Kim, if you guys see rosemopar online again, send her to DOL. That's really where she needs to go with this, but you guys already know that.

dusty, I'm not trying to fight with you (honest), but this particular breeder has hurt so many people and animals it isn't funny.

She really needs to be stopped, and that's why so many people are suing her.

It's a damn shame what she has done to people, and to the Great Dane breed.

And it was with the Saint Bernards... so I am curious as well. There has been alot of 'activity' concerning her Danes, and her intentional Great Dane/St. Bernard breedings... but this was the first story specific to the St's.

I hope she comes back on tonight.

Sorry to hear about your breeder friend Dusty. That is exactly what the no-bashing is meant to prevent. Sometimes though, there are real 'pieces' like this breeder and you would really like to shout it from the treetops! There is SO MUCH that has gone on with this breeder I am surprised you haven't heard of her yet!

i apologize fincat for being snotty with you. i really hate to see people get scammed and cheated. i just thought about my russian friend and dont want to see anyone accused if there is a chance they may be innocent. it seems there are several here that have been hurt by this breeder. and hopefully if its true, they will be compensated for any loss.
