I got my money back from the bad grooming and the manager apologized over and over and over again. She loves Merphy. I took him up there today and she was so mad. Her words were, "oh my god, they f*cked up Merphy!" She apologized over and over again, and said she understands if he never comes back for a groom, but hopes that I'll still bring him in to the store. He loves her, so I will. He wouldn't go inside today, but she came out to the car and he got really happy. She asked if there was anything else she could do, but I just wanted her to see how it affected him. She is going to talk to her grooming manager and the groomer who botched him.
As far as Merphy goes, he's doing much better. He's still a little shy and lazy, but he now likes to cuddle and be held...which I will not complain about. His hair is already growing back. He's on his way to being the cutest dog ever again (no offense)!!!
I can't wait for the day modern science will allow breeders to clone the chow but stunt his growth. I love the way a chow puppy looks. I want them to stay that way forever. Btw Katz puppy is pretty darn cute.

the tears of sorrow album was the month that i lost my gremlin. (16 pound 5 ft ig) but there are two healthy albums i know its not a dog pic (its cuter) but i love my larry. hes my lovable moster. gremlin was cuter) larry made it to a limited edition hardbound book. my bf of 14 yrs submitted it the chose his pic :)
Hey!! I have 5 pictures submitted and published in different books from there. They are SPENDY though and so I have to still try to find them but I want to get all five that I have published. Congrats!!!
thanks i dont have the book :( we were offered it but dang thats as much as a grocery bill just to afford the book. i know this is a dog forum but i take great dedication and am very active in green iguana care. it makes dog care SEEM easy but i know its not ig care is just different type of care altogether takes 30 min a day to prepare his meal. all that shredding and slicing argh gone are the days of filling a bowl of premade food (dogfood)
I don't have an iguana. But I do have a set of sugar gliders..... so I can sympathize with the time, love and special care of a creature with special dietary needs ;)

I agree, it is a good thing TP doesn't have a Cutest Dog Contest, there are so many sweet, adorable pooches out there. I'll just add a few pics of my cutie taken at Christmas time. He is 1-1/2 yrs. old and named Cody. He is so much fun!
Merphy looks just like how our long haired Yorkiepoo looked after we got him back from the groomer. Big hairy head and SKINNY little body, with a puff tail. He looked nuts. Really close to how your Merphy looks...But he is still really cute though. I understand how hair makes a VERY big difference!!!!
