It amuses me how many people make a complaint about spelling or grammar and cannot get through the whole complaint without making an error themselves! I bet it has happened at least 10 times in this long thread.
Frankly, it doesn't bother me. On a job application, it would bother me and could cause me not to hire a person, depending on the job. On Terrificpets, I notice, but I could care less. I only have to read what I choose to read. Yes, I'm more likely to read a long post if it's paragraphed. No, I'm not irritated if someone makes a post that I choose not to bother with for that reason.
The time I spend on a pet forum is relaxing time for me. If it made me uptight and distressed to read posts with spelling errors in them, I might opt to read a published and edited book instead. There are many good books about dogs at the library or at Barnes & Noble.

Because it's not your job, Wanna-be-Judge Cassandra, to effect that manifestation. Especially since some of your posts contain misspellings/typos/grammatical errors themselves. Caused by laziness? Probably not. Caused by self-righteous vehemence? Probably.
i know that alot of people were offended by this post. i was one of them. espescially having disabilities in my hands. but she did apologise three different times and someone always brings it back up. i was hoping people could just accept her apology or at least just move on. we have all said things that we wished we could take back or at least have worded differently. i am sure cassandra feels that way now or at least she understands that her post hit alot of nerves here. but geez people look how totally out of hand it has gotten and i am really amazed that it is still even here.
I have one comment to make, there's no right or wrong here any longer that stopped 11 pages ago.I for one think there is other things more important in life then this petty stuff.I think we all can agree on this we have people on this forum that need our help.hmmm......lets see we have a posting of a little boy who was murdered, majorlover had a huge loss(her beloved pet),katz is waiting for test result to get back.a poor katrina dog found with broken leg after all these months, the list goes on .....shame on all of us.Let's all call it a draw and go on.
Could you define that please? Sorry, I'm just kidding. Well, at least there's never a dull moment. It just boils down to its not what you say but how you say it. You can always get the same point just as easy by being nice as being rude. I don't care if you can't spell diddly. I had rather see someone with a good attitude than someone with a chip on their shoulder.
Ease up folks, I actually get a kick outta reading/deciphering some of them. Gives me a good laugh. This is just Forum, not a Spelling Bee, not Jeopardy. And there is NO prize............Old Chinese Proverb, or confucius, or whatever, saying "If something so small has the power to anger you, does that not indicate something about your size?"............
i just had to bump this didnt i . lol i couldnt resist adding this
