No one should judge anyone else about how they right or spell. People come on here to look for help for their animals and talk about their animals. They should not feel shy to do this. It took me a few months of reading the posts before i actually got the courage to join in on the conversations.
Sorry Silkypup, you shouldn't feel uneasy about coming on here and asking questions; besides knowbboddea caaan sea you hear so its kuite okay to err. Dont be selfconshios. I feal betta now that i have taken a cold showa, anybodea outtheir want to do the same?
"Now, can we get back to discussing dogs, pets, etc."
Forgive me. But who started this post "love". Speaking of a hard time understanding posts, those of us who live in the states may have a hard time following your posts because you like to use an alot of Brit dialect sweetums.
So do us a favor and "bugger off" with you knickers in a bunch. It's not Terrific Pets fault that you are so anal, unable to relax and enjoy yourself.
First you criticize people for their poor grammar. Then after you get flamed for being totally rude you apologize and just want to drop it, claiming you want to forget about it and talk about animals. Next, you keep responding in a negative manner. Then you make an attempt at humor by mispelling words yourself. Finally, you accuse another member of being racist. Incredible!
Being British is not the reason you are feeling unwelcome here. It is because you are RUDE AS HECK!!!
Get over it and get a life!
I suggest you find a forum with posters as high and mighty as yourself.
Did I spell everything correctly? I sure hope so. Feel free to correct my grammar.

WOW!! That is all I can say. Since when did it become someone else's business to correct the way someone does anything? Be it the way they write, spell, talk, look, eat, drink, live, or anything. If you do not 'understand' a question, then you can either ask the OP to rephrase their question, you can answer it the best you can, or you can just ignore it and look at another post. No one here said that every post must be answered. I cannot believe there is 7 pages on this. Seriousely. Is there truly nothing better to do on a Saturday night then sit on a pet forum complaining about grammar?? For real? Wow, I live in a small town where nothing ever happens but I STILL have better things to do then that.
Cutting and pasting. Now you are not making any sense honey.
The only rude poster here is YOU. You are very condescending and cruel. Did you ever think that many people may not be fortunate enough to receive a good education? Of course not. You would rather introduce yourself to a forum by insulting people. That's sad. The reason people keep responding is because you keep responding in a negative manner.
If you really want to let it drop you should just go to bed and come back tomorrow and try being nice.
That's what I am going to do because I'm tired and sick of how mean people can be.
By the way, I teach at a college and I know firsthand that you cannot educate people by making them feel bad about themselves, which is what you did to many people tonight. I take offense at the way you treated people who may be uneducated and/or disabled. Being able to construct a good sentence or spell words correctly does not make you better than others. That's a free life lesson for you honey.

Wow is right! Who the heck cares? Now, I am extremely anal, mainly when it comes to work, on the verge, if not over, of being obsessive compulsive. And I don't care. Yeah, I notice mispelled words, bad grammar, run-ons and such, but I'm not gonna post about them. There are a few people that post here often that I find very difficult to understand their posts...so, if their post is longer than about 2 lines, I don't read it. I'm not gonna offend them by insults. Especially since I suspect that English is their second language, and I respect their attempts at learning it (and no that is not meant in any way to be an attack against any other race, culture, or country).
I'm dyslexic, so I know I type off some random stuff, and I even have a hard time getting words out of my mouth sometimes. But, one thing I have noticed is that my dog doesn't care about my spelling, or my speech. So why should you? This place is about our pets, not our writing abilities.
Cinnaeve - What I mean by "cutting and pasting" is that you seem to pick and choose whatever argument better suits you; in other words you like to ignore or emphasise certain sections of this thread and the part that you choose to ignore is that WHEN I APOLOGISED I WAS MADE A MOCKERY OF! IT IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO SIT BACK AND HAVE TO LISTEN TO SUCH UNFORGIVING PEOPLE....
PERHAPS you should reread some of the posts that follow my apology...
I HAVE NOT continued to be negative after that; it seems like you have a difficult time discerning the difference between negativity and trying to defend oneself.
After my apology, a couple of individuals retaliated in a very nasty manner, it's as if they were resenting the mere fact that I did apologise; sounded like they had me on their "hate" list and were not prepared to let bygones be bygones.
Nope, not racism. You may detect me being annoyed. But not at anything other then your bad attitude and your relapse you seem to have suffered from being able to perform as a functioning human being on this planet.
Just pointing out that you, like the others you have made claims against.....may make some confusing posts. That's all. You may dismount that high horse anytime....
It wouldn't make sense for me to "hate" english people seeing as how I am part english, would it?
Why don't you stop and think before making another condescending post like this one.
By the way, it's- "pedal". I thought you the all knowing, supreme being would have had that one pegged *shrug*

Well, she is not posting on a British forum, besides the fact that I could care less how well anyone can spell, doesnt bother me a bit. She should in return refrain from telling everyone here how to spell, punctuate, express themselves, etc. She said to use spell check, here in America, it tells you it is favor, I dont have the British version.
It was only as a matter of making a point, not to have a spelling conversation.
And dont go to the racist comment, I am not downing her for being British, just showing her that we all speak, express ourselves, and spell differently....thats it
