I want to know if nutro is good i have been using it for my pitbull for 2 months now and i just heard it wasnt good. Im not sure if i should stop using it, and if i do what food should i change it to so my pitbull gets big.
Just saw this topic list. Iam currently using Nutro Ultra Puppy formula. I talked with a rep from the pet store and they convinced me it was one of the best. I don't know if it is true.....Intersting to see if someone else knows the answer.
As far as size for your Pit Bull ,that's genetics and comes from the parents and their parents and so forth.I've never used Nutro , but i'm currently feeding Merricks and Canidae. I'm impressed with Canidae ,I love it . The Merricks I just started to feed , so right now I don't really have a opinion on it yet.I've heard excellent things about the food ,so I wanted to give it a try.
We had Bull Terrier that had so many allergies we almost had to have him put down. He lost much of his hair and was completely miserable. The Vet tried everything. We even did the allergy testing and they said he was pretty much allergic to everything. We tried the Vet recommended ZD dog food$$$. It didn't work either. So we went on the hunt for dog food that didn't contain any chicken or beef and it was very hard to find. The pet store recommended Nutro Lamb and Rice. We tried it and it was like a miracle for him. His allergies calmed way down and his hair grew back. Our new Yorkie puppy had dry flakey skin until we started feeding her Nutro puppy chow and it has cleared up. The breeder told us Nutro was a good brand to use. I am sold on it.
Which Nutro are you feeding? I've never tried the Ultra but the Max we almost lost a puppy from (one pup out off 11 so it was soemthign "she" had a problem with but we got her through it) Nutro Natural Choice is what we fed after that and I swear it makes them eat their poop! LOL. But they did thrive on it (and poop!) GAG
Iv'e used NUTRO's of one flavor or another for over 10 years with zero problems! I recomend it to anyone looking for a quality dog food that isn't going to tap your wallet. Just look at the ingredients if your worried! Unlike brands like pro-plan that have an interesting substance call animal digest? What the heck is that anyway?
