i have always had somewhat of a distaste for meat. i love eggs and dairy, cheese (does chocolate count as a food group? lol ) i never eat veggies (yuk) i dont blame pepole who eat meat for eating carcass so to speak or beef so raw you swear it is still mooing.
i am currious to know exactly what "issues" you just cant get "over". and by any chance would mental heath groups be of help in you overcomming them.;)
SINCE you are seeking for me to literally spell it out then I will do that for you, bessieloubop. I blame God for human beings being carnivorous; as a christian, who else should I blame? Lucifer, perhaps? no, I don't think so since he is not the creator!!
I just think we should thank the good God almighty above for giving us options to choose what we want to eat. He put many things on this earth to nourish us and one may choose a stick of celery and one may down a big mac. Does it really matter?? Instead of questioning why God made man eat meat be thankful your not that poor hungry child on the other thread who died with out any thing to eat. Go look at that picture one more time then ask God why there couldnt be more meat for that boy. Do you think his death would be worth saving a cow?? That is why there is meat to eat.
hey misspeakabooboo - I am beginning to wonder who has the mental issues around here - I thought I made myself abundantly clear but it appears that some have a serious condensation of their grey matter.
What part of the english or should I say yankee language do you have trouble understanding???
I appreciate your gracious attempts to make that clear, Cassandra. I personally do not assume things about other people, so it was difficult for me to ascertain exactly where you were coming from. Again, thank you for clearing that up for me.
Now, where does your dog food come from again?

I feed my dogs beetroot, lettuce and rainwater, i guess you dont realize lettuce is as nuticious as rain water compared to collards, mustards, and turnip greens. dandiliors are the most nutriciosly complete '" greens" but usually are too bitter for the human taste buds. perhaps you should look into a nutricious diet ;)

FOR starters, I have no idea what you are talking about but surely you don't want to get me started on another issue - you are a contradiction in terms; some of us should thank God for the food whilst others are starving?? I think God forgot about equality instead of some individuals being obese and others starving to death... Perhaps you should be the very one to ask God a series of questions since you are the very one bringing the world's problems into this thread.
Cassandra, I am NOT a Christian.......in fact, I have no religion that I call my own. I do not worship anyone......yet I have my own beliefs. HOWEVER, if you have problems with god or what you believe to be "gods doings" then that is something that you have to deal with within yourself......We cannot make the world better..... you will not change the entire world to vegetarian. All you can change is yourself......work on that. Fight for more humane euthanasia of shelter animals......fight for more humane killings of lifestock(if you can't get them to stop, at least you can make it better for the animals in the end?) Go to a foreign country and give food to the starving families.....Donate money to your shelter........something. But we, here, on this forum, cannot help you with your issues with god. That is something ONLY YOU can do. Good Luck.
Utopia - it tears me apart to see those poor defenceless children dying of starvation but by the same token I stop and think that those little boys grow up to be men who in turn rape young girls and women and spread aids like hot cakes and my compassion ceases - amazing how those men still appear to have plenty of energy to procreate abundantly....is it something in the water??
as a herper of 12 years i know that if you think lettuce is very nutricious, you obviously seem to me as ... i cant type it you will blow a gasket,(lets just say you have not done your homework on lettuce) but lettuce is not nutricious compared with other greens that i listed before. BUT i guess its all good because yor dogs make a ham sandwhich after your asleep. lol
Utopia - I need to repeat something here since you obviously missed the point - you keep saying that god made animals for us to eat and that we should be grateful for that; then why are there children starving, like in the link you so graciously provided?? Don't tell me that God is racist??
Cassandra!! A childs suffering should NEVER be downplayed by a adults decision! How DARE you say that! I have tried to be polite but HOW DARE YOU!! That was just cold hearted and MEAN! The men are like that because that is their lifestyle. Something that you know NOTHING abou unless you have lived there. I have lost ALL respect for you when you can say that an innocent child dying loses your compassion because of the choices that SOME ADULTS make!!! Shame on you!! You reasons for wondering why people eat meat are the LEAST of your problems......anyone who loses compassion when a young child is suffering is COLD and HEARTLESS!!
