Good, kitten; so if my points are pointless then I take that to mean that I have not driven you away since you should be singling me out and not blame the others for my sheer pointlessness; I would hope not so perhaps you should just ignore my pointless points and partake the company of those who make poinful points, it's really that easy.

Wow, god created this world and he created you but you seem to have superior intelligents. How is it that God did all this and now thousands of years later you know more than he/she does. Ever consider that your veiws are wrong?

Well, if you are a Christian you should keep in mind that God intentionally made this world ... not as good as it should be. It's part of the trials you face to reach the treasures of heaven.

Maybe he put made humans omnivores as a test. I doubt that. I think it's part of the gift of free will.

I'm also an Evolutionist (don't judge me!) and believe that meat was a necessary part of the path to becoming humans. Our human ancesstors tended to be more herbivorous but as they became better hunters their brains grew larger and they became better thinkers and utilized their knowldge to create better ways to hunt and so on. Ironically, meat is a major part of modern man's battle with obesity and is killing our race.

Hank, I don't claim to have superior intelligence but it is my right to question things rather than to accept things blindly. Perhaps God is not as infallible as some would like to believe. If that was so, then he would have foreseen that to create man he would have created the bigger catastrophe of all!!

Perhaps I have forethought in that I like to think ahead rather than to accept things as they are and I do regard myself as a sensitive and decent person and that is why I question things because I hate to see so much suffering, not just of animals but of human beings as well; some people go about their daily lives without EVER considering the state of this world; should I make apologies because I cannot be as nonchalant as most people are??

lol. Back in the day, before any of our time, crops did not grow in the winter and we had to resort to something else. There was no trade like there is today!!! Hope that answers it.

edit* Plus we needed the protien and there is none in grains and no fancy vitamins like today.
