My dog, Molly, went to the vet because she was peeing in the house and drinking more water than usual. Last time she was doing this she had a bad urinary tract infection and crystals in her urine so that's why I took her. This time her ph levels were normal, no crystals, no blood in urine. The vet said that just because of the way she was acting, and her history, she was going to give her an antibiotic to be safe. This was on Thursday. Last night my husband was playing with her and after we noticed some blood on his shirt and on his socks. Then I noticed a few drops of blood on the kitchen floor. I am just confused. It must be from her. We have two little kids, but I know they weren't bleeding. I have another dog,Coco, and she is almost five months, but not fixed yet, I thought she would be too young to go into heat. I checked her and I don't see any blood on her, course I don't really see any on Molly either. Any ideas what it could be?
I agree with Scout1, Sounds like one of the girls may be in heat. Small breed dogs come into season earlier then their larger counterparts. Usually between 6 to 9 months.
Check to make sure she hasn't pulled any nails or teeth. My dogs have done that before when playing. Bella cut herself in between her toes up high on the pad once. It would bleed then stop, then she would bump it and it would start all over. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

If she is fixed and has signs of having been bleeding. I think a trip to the vet is in order. However, if he does not seem to be in any discomfort or having difficulty urinating and is eating/playing normally, I would say she can wait and go tomorrow. Unles she has a huge change in symptoms today, you can save the ER visit costs and take her in the morn.
