I guess a moderator decided that a partcular thread regarding a WA breeder was not a worthy discussion any longer? No benefit to warning buyers out there about a bad breeder? I am puzzled. You as moderators should perhaps DELETE PARTS, but not the entire threads.
When threads like these digress, it is usually because the breeder(or"friend") has surfaced, and stirred things up, twisting the events, to get a rise out of enough people to hopefully get the threads deleted.
UNfortunately by deleting any references to this breeder being bad news, you are inadvertently in my opinion, aiding her and her business. SHE WANTS THREADS LIKE THAT TO BE DELETED.
If this was not a computer glitch and this was deleted, congrats to you on helping her out.
We'll let you know how many new victims surface.
I am sure if you actually looked into the info, you would be sick of what this woman has done. If not, then I hope you never meet someone like her when you are looking for a puppy, they'd eat you alive.
The mods are here to serve as peacekeepers, not act a judges, juries or investigators. I know you probably had a good reason for your post, as it appears. There have been many of these in the past, some warranted and some not, so I think they felt that it would be best in all fairness to eliminate it all together. They are unpaid mods, and like I said, can't be investigating posts for validity.
This is a good forum, I hope you can stick around and enjoy it otherwise.
PS-They've had their hands full lately, so please keep that in mind. Without them, we have no forum.

I dont think that threads with breeders names, location, etc. is appropriate anyway. Scams happen, and yes it is horrible. But his is generally a one sided story in which the person being talked about is not here to defend themselves, also this is a discussion forum, and not a scammers anonymous board. There are appropriate places and steps to take to handle these situations and here is not the reolution.
Also with all the problems that the forum has had in recent days, it is possible it was deleted by accident or due to other incurable issues.
Fine. I just see plenty of posts that do state names.. or things like don't sell to 'Cameroon' etc... LOTS of warnings WITH names. Unfortunately, a thread where people are trying to connect with other victims that bought from a specific breeder with NO NAMES MENTIONED gets hijacked by the "Scam Breeder" and she is able to turn in into a heated debate or 'bash fest' with the very INTENTION to get it deleted. ( she is a Liar & MANIPULATOR...beware) It is just sad, thats all. AND frustrating.... to want to help people and basically have some high and mighty folks simply roll their eyes. Just wait till something like that happens to you or someone you know.
I agree with the Ripoffsite...someone told me about that place a month ago. GREAT way to get the word out... and trust me, I've been the squeaky wheel now for 2 years & I have not finished using all avenues to reach puppy buyers. And the whole point of that would be????
I do get a little worked up on this, because what this woman has done has been BEYOND comprehension, and this will not be the last you have heard about her.
I completely understand moderators are busy, have their hands full...I empathize... I too am busy. Just please, delete posts, and not the whole threads. It is a disservice to new puppy buyers out there and other victims living in shame and paranoia because of some heartless con-artist posing as a Breeder.
Welcome! I commend you for doing everything you can to help other people not to be scammed. As far as the rules go, they have been that way for a while, so I hope that you will not take personal offense and maybe even stick around a bit and let us get to know you.
I was under the impression that it was okay to post that kind of thread as long as no names, kennel names, phone #, or specific location (41 maple street), are in the post.( I am not a mod and I could be mistaken.) That is not to say that mods might not miss one now and again. At times there are no mods online because of their work and daily life, and they will generally clean up anything that doesn't fit the rules when they come online.
Best of luck to you in stopping the person who scammed you and making others aware so that they will not be hurt.
Ok the first one you metioned about "Cameroon" was about a country and not a person. Second about someone metioning another thread was started with names and such was a mod. on at the time...Was it called to her attention?
Our thread had no breeder name posted... I agree with the rules, and absolutely try to abide by them. Thats why 2yrs ago, I reported to the BBB, WA st. Attorney general, local police dept, got an attorney etc, etc..... I abide by the rules! Abiding by the rule can take what seems like FOREVER though and is especially frustrtating when you are watching people like this "breeder" that &%!$ on the rules.
Just looking to connect with other people and help them out.
Oh I'm not going anywhere :) Thank you for the welcome.
I am really shocked to say the least as I reread the entire post today and in my opion it was very nice compared to others that I have read on here. I don't mean to offend anyone and no one has come back at me other than the breeder and a few of her alias to bash me. I could care less what she says about me or my dog. I only want to "buyer beware" . The info that I have presented is factual and I will stand behind every word that I say. Rip off report and Dane specific forums have really helped in getting the word out on this horrible sitution. I sign my name to every post that I write and I am really disappointed that others can not see the value in presenting valid information.
I may have been the last to post today to the specific thread and I would really appreciate that who ever deleted it would tell me what the concerns were. I do not want to make the same mistake twice.
this is the first i have been on today ....... have no idea what thread you are talking about ..... did you by chance save a link to it that you could give me so i can review it and try and figure out why it may have been deleted ?
This was a followup thread to one that was deleted because of the kennelname. The only thing I could think of when I reviewed it a few minutes ago... was that I posted a link to the court house...names were there. Other than that, after the "breeder" started posting(she is easy to recognize) it just went from bad to worse.

i do remember reading that thread a month ago when it was first posted.
my best guess is that the breeder in question wrote to the administrators of the site and complained so they removed it. it has happened numerous times before and is the reason we have the new no breed/breeder bashing rule.
in all cases , except for obvious troll spam , the mods make a majority decision when it comes to deleting threads and banning members. no conversation has taken place between any of us regarding that thread so what i stated above is probably the case.
i was very happy to see that all your hard work against this breeder resulted in her not being able to renew her kennel license.
So I guess I can assume that the breeder in question was so concerned about what was being discussed that she may have had something to do with it's disappearance???? That makes me chuckle!!! I am grinning from ear to ear--the truth is too much for her!
I will say it again- "Buyer Beware"---do your research, ask questions, demand to see verification of AKC paperwork and registration. If you want a purebred dog make sure you have a dog from a breeder that health tests, that belongs to breed organizations and is in good standing with the organizations. Don't be fooled by fancy photography and web sites. Avoid the puppy broker. Call the breeder's vet and confirm the health of your pup and it's parents. Check breed rescues and see how many of the breeder's dogs end up with them. You would be amazed. Be smart and you will get a wonderful pet. You can avoid a lot of heartache and hassle. Trust me,I know!
Thanks to Terrific Pets for this avenue of communication. So sad that it seems to bother a few.
