I was looking in the "dogs wanted" section and there was someone looking for a longhaired weimeranar? I have never heard of one? Is this a genetic "mess up" or are they actually breeding for it?? Just curious!

There's a gene for long hair in many breeds, including Akitas, German Shepherd dogs, whippets, labrador retrievers and more. It's recessive, and does occasionally crop up during breeding. So yes they do exist and yes they're even purebred. It's just a disqualifying fault in judging.
