I will get right to the point.I have a male pug that is 1yr.and 3 months old.I had him nuetured at 9 months old after purchasing him from a breeder, now here's the problem my friend is staying with our family and she also has a pug that is 3 years old her pug is pregnant and she says that the only dog her pug has been around is my pug so he has to be the father and I told her that is just crazy since my pug was fixed.I went to the vet today with her and sure enough her pug is going to have puppies the vet said, but my pug can't be the father because I had him fixed .I would like to hear from you breeders so I can show her it is not possible even my vet told her rudy has been nuetered. What in the blazes are we going to do now?
I believe you all agree with me.I was shocked and so was she .and then all the finger pointing started happening. We are very upset over this what are we going to do?She said she was going to have her pug fixed after this ,but that dosn't help our situation now .what a friggen mess.
Well, your male is obviously fixed and has no testicles to prove it, so i say your off the hook and they need to remember when another dog could have gotten ahold of her. Also ultrasound to check the size of the pups since you dont know what breed it was either........what is she expecting from you?
Ipn169,she wants to give her away now.I cannot take her,I know nothing about dogs being pregnant nor would I ever try to take a crash course in it.I waited until I was 29 yrs old before I had my first child.I waited till my youngest child was 11 before I brought our family pet into the home and he is twelve now and even then I did alott of research on our family pet to make sure it was what we wanted, but one thing for sure I never did any research on pugs having puppies because it was never a option.

Pugs are not an easy breed to whelp either, espec since this may be a bigger breed as the father and she doesnt know for sure. Its best to get it to someone experienced to whelp the litter. It may be a rough one. I dont know anyone right off the bat near you....how far along is she right now? Too bad she prob shouldnt be shipped, or she could come here.
The vet said today she is 5 weeks or a little more.he started her on vitimins and ran a whole bunch of tests on her today and were suppose to find out the results in a couple of days. The vet weighed her today and she weighed 13 lbs.Thank you for the rescue number.I have to do something pretty quick your right because this mom needs to be put with a loving and caring person that can take care of her and give her time to get settled in .I also will contact the breeder and see if possibly she will take her back.
