Last nite, and right now, as well as this morning (not sure about the rest of the day) Stryder will just be all of a sudden panting like he's laying in the sun. Doing nothing, just laying in his crate.
Should I be worried... more? He's in a plastic carrier (at nite) and a fleece/fuzzy blanket. Maybe it's making him too warm?
Is the crate big enough for him to move around in? I mean, walk and not just try to turn around. If not, get a bigger crate - big enough for a Mastiff! As anyone who knows me, knows I don't use crates. But if you have to use one, you should use one that is big enough for the dog to walk around in. I just keep picturing myself put in a crate all day - that would make me crazy!
Mr. Stryder is still a pup. If he get's into a crate big enough for a mastiff he may regress in crate/potty training. I know if any of my 3 girls have more than "lay down and stretch out" room there will be urine. For sure! More water and more outside potty breaks, possibly an anal temp check. Upgrading in crate size because he's panting may let him have more space to romp around in and make this panting WORSE! Just my two cents Merico.

I've narrowed it down to the food by some help (of course).
BTW He's a Miniature Schnauzer, 11 weeks, and I'm pretty sure it wasnt because of his crate or blankets, though it could have stressed him out a bit. The food, added with his stomach problems, and what I believe were the cause of it. We'll see if he does it tonite...
