I recently lost my 11 week old puppy to an accident. She was an angel. She was the only puppy born which happened to be on my birthday. A happy healthy baby girl Shiba Inu. My roomate would bring her over to his mother's house to cheer her up because she was suffering from breast cancer. On the eveing of the last day of radiation he took her over to see his mom. She popped out of the collar and got hit by a car. We are all heart broken but I am taking it really bad am I crazy? Was she my roomates mother angel? Why would god take an 11 week old puppy who was so loved?
You have every right to take it hard. Everyone morns in a differnt way.Your puppy filled a spot that that created comfort and esp for your friends mother. Of course your puppy was here for a reason. God places everything on earth for a reason. And now your puppy has done its job here on earth and it was time to go home. Its ok to be sad and miss your puppy but rejoce that you have more life and love to share because of of the time spent w/ your puppy. No, it will never be replaced but do not waste the compassion it has taught you in its short time on earth. Hope you feel better soon.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
You are not crazy for feelign the way you do.I mourned over my shih tzu I lost when he was 10 months old and then three days later my rottie that was 10 months old died too.I mourned for almost a year and still think of them both all the time.God did not take your pup away.He put there for a reason and the pup fullfilled that reason and it was tiime to go.
Everybody is born so they can learn how to live a good life-like loving everybody and being nice.Well, animals already know how to do that,so they dont have to stay as long.
It is never easy loosing a pet no matter what their age is. Sorry for you loss and time will help ease the pain. Your little one may be gone but she won't be forgotten! Hope your friends mother is doing well. Take care.
