My yorkie mix Mimi and my friends dog Lucky both have horrible breath. I changed Mimi's food from Iams to Purina Dog Chow to see if the change in dog food would hel her breath, exept nothing worked. Any one know how to stop the bad breath. Brushing Mimi's teeth or giving her something that would stop the bad breath?

Yorkies have notoriously bad breath & honestly getting her on a better food will help. Also, as much as I hate to recommend anything Pedigree makes - their breath busters do work. Your dog will probably need dentals done yearly.
Just remembered when we were at the Vet last week, he remarked at how great Phoebi's teeth looked! He even told me that Yorkies have so many dental problems.
She will be 5 on July 1 and has no tartar nor any bad breath! Trust me - she is a huge kisser!
I'm going to admit that I'm not a good brusher (bad Mom). The only thing I can attribute it to is her food and snacks?
She eats Natural Balance Vension and Brown Rice. Her treats alternate between Nutro puppy drumsticks and the new Greenie Smart Biscuits (they have little slivers of Greenies in them). She used to eat regular Greenies until I heard of some dogs having problems with them not breaking down and basically clogging the intestines. But she hasn't had 1 of them in close to a year!
Chandler, too, has good teeth!
Maybe it is the food considering both are doing OK in the dental department.
