I'm getting a new dog soon, and I need to know how long and far you need to walk it, how much to feed it without starving, or getting sick. I think I should get a puppy sence I would need to train them and everything. Thank you!
I'm a new puppy owner and I'm totally ignorant to dogs but the vet gave me a book by Purina which contains a lot of great information covering health, feeding, training, grooming, etc. You might check with your local vet.
What you should do is learn about the breed you are going to get. Some breeds need more exersize, and feeding depends on the type of food you use and the size of your dog. You can find books about specific breeds at a local pet store or book store. If you can't find one about the breed you want, look online. Learning about the breed and talking to a vet will answer your questions.
I have never even owned a dog before, so I know little to nothing. I recomend the book 'How to Raise a Puppy You Can Live With' by by Cliare Rutherford. I also can recomend 'Throw Me a Bone: 50 Healthy, Canine Taste-Tested Recipes for Snacks, Meals, and Treats' by Cooper Gillepsie. Also, try learning more about the breed you are getting.
