I think it was you that I had saw a picture of your little girl in a child harness. Where did you get it? I was wanting one for my son, he's 2, and since it's baseball season for the kids I can't take him out to the park and watch the game without him wanting to take off. I just hate going to the game to watch my step son playball only to have to chase down my little one the whole time, lOl, and never get to see whats going on.
K-A-Mom, It's so funny that you mention that. I had posted a picture of myself and daughter when I was usinga child harness and I got SO much flack for that. All my family and friend's think it's mean, but you wouldn't believe how many parent's stop me to ask about where to get one! My daughter is practically a poster-child for the new one.
There are several brands out there but what we are using now that she is least irritated by is the plush puppy harness. It looks like a stuffed lovey and has a detachable "tail" (leash) and a zipper to store a small snack or possibly a child I.D.
I got our's at Walmart for under ten bucks!! I HIGHLY reccommend it! Here's a pic of what it look's like!
SweetG, none of my business but I wouldn't listen to any poor comments about using a harness. It's all about child safety right? (and Mom's sanity!) Besides, my parents used a harness on me as a child except it was leather with reins, and I turned out ok!? Of course it still comes up at the family holiday dinner table! (I was their only child that needed one!)
Yep, that's the one :) Thank you so much. I really need one of those, he just wants to be a big boy and not be held but it's not always safe for him. So this will help him feel like the older boys without me having panic attacks, lol.
I say good for you. I had rather see someone care enough to know where and what their child is doing than just letting them run wild. Thats what is wrong with alot of children nowadays is that everything is considered cruel or unhumane. We need to go back to alot of the basics as far as I'm concerned.
