Are there any other breeds your interested in? Lets not forget the afghans and other breeds youve asked about. How many dogs have you rehomed and/or put down? An awful lot for a 15yr old. Something is fishy, and we have caught on. We don't want to gang up on you, but when you get to know people and lie to them, what do you expect?
I had trouble deciding which breed because I would find something I like but my dad or mom didnt. We have had 21 fosters.I only have owned a shih tzu, rottie, the pit,Jake and Maggie.Shih tzu died of heart defect, rottie died of heat stroke and something else.Vet could not save him.The pit tried to kill my dogs and our house is not set up to keep them seperated at all times.unless you wanted her to live in the crate. For most of the day and all night.Jake made my dad and brother have severe allergic reactions.Maggie was not happy here with us.She didnt have a yard she could run in.She couldnt come inside out of the crate much because no matter what she would jump, chew, pee and poop. Now she has 4 acres and a aussie pup that can keep up with her energy.Caesar and her wer starting to get into bad fights and you know who would win those fights. Not the 33 lb dog.She also would get mad at Bear for no reason.Just pick on him.She honestly was not happ and since she hated the crate I didnt htink it was fair to her to make her stay in there for hours in the day and then at night.Caesar got rehomed because he attacked my mom.I still have to show you pics dont I? Mom got her stitches out and the scaring isnt to bad.She couldnt go to work for a week.I'll show you before and after pictures. The police did come out to our house. They said since we own the dog and it was his first offense we could do what we want with him.Dad wishes he would have just put him down like I said because the rescue rehomed him.We may be going to court for the whole thing.Lacie got put to sleep because of a brain tumor. It was to far along to help.
I cant control my parents and their choices, especially my dads.
I dont feel you are ganging up on me.Im not upset or anything I was confused where i had lied and I still have not lied.

they only have reactions to certain dogs. The doctor hasnt figured out if it is dander, saliva or the hair or what but some dogs make them react. They onl had reactions to Jake and our cat but they dont have to bad reactions to him.We can tell right away if they are allergic or not.
My trainer is allergic to alomost every GSD but isnt allergic to her GSD,max or any of her labs. She also doesnt have allergies to her Corgi or beagle.
I dont want another dog.if they want one they can get one.I wont be around it though, not unil I see it wont bite me when I pet it for no reason.
My dad has allegic reactions to poodles and sometimes he doesnt have nay reaction. My mom doesnt like poodles anyway. She doesnt like how lanky and skinny they look

Hey cockerlover! Glad to see you back for a bit! I hope you aren't totally done with dogs b/c I like you and your advice! Maybe after everything calms down someday. I still think you'd be a wonderful vet. Just wanted to give you a shout out.
Nice to see you to Erbabe,i dont think I could be a vet.i went to the vet yesterday and could not even be around my own old cocker to comfort him because i was scared he might bite if the vet hurt him.I dont think I could be a vet because they have to many strange dogs come in with bad attitudes.I was thinking large animal vet, like horses and stuff.Thats the only vet i can see myself as,as of right now.
Mafia i have not lied maybe i didnt explain mself well and it didnt make sense but I have not lied.Sorry but i havent
Im sorry if I have hurt anyone but i did not do it on purpose and have not lied.If I ve hurt tomeone they ought to say somone and Ill apologize. But still have not lied

Cocker, I don't think anyone has a problem with you personally. From talking to you on here awhile back, and on other forums, you seem like a really nice girl. But it's hard for some members, I think, to see you continually posting threads that show interest in so many different breeds of dogs.
I think it's one thing to have a genuine interest in dog breeds and to want to learn more about them, but you take it to the next level when you contact breeders and ask to be on their waiting lists when you are not interested in really buying from them. It's a bit deceptive, and isn't far to all the people that take the time to tell you about their dogs and their bloodlines, only to find out later that you were just 'shopping around'. Maybe if you're going to do these things, you could inform the breeder beforehand that you would just like to know more about the breed, and aren't interested in purchasing at that time. That way, they can tell you about their dogs, but won't feel like you are going to buy from them. Because it seems like you post a thread asking about a certain breed of dog, wait for responses, and then you get the emails of the people that have those dogs and make it seem like you are going to get one as well...when you're not.
It doesn't make you a bad person, it's just makes you seem confused, and makes people reluctant to want to respond to you.
Not to mention that libraries have tons of books about dog breeds that would probably be a lot more helpful then emailing random breeders or people with that breed. Because, while they know a lot about the breed because they own them, they are going to be partial to them and *some* may not disclose everything about the breed. Especially if you find a bad breeder. And on the internet, it's hard to tell the difference ya know?
when I contacted breeders, which was only 3.I told them Im not purchasing right now.I asked if they had a waiting list with a couple I never said can I get on it.i asked about health testing and temperment not bloodlines or anything like that.
I have read EVERY dog book in our library, even about breeds im not interested in.This year I have already 120 books.Thats all I do is read.
When I asked the breeders questions I found out stuff I dont like about the breed or dogs.So I went to something or someone else.
Who cares if I show interest in a thousand different breeds, its my choice. They can answer my questions or leave it alone.

"I have read EVERY dog book in our library, even about breeds im not interested in.This year I have already 120 books.Thats all I do is read."
beings that you spend so much time reading library books. maybe you could get a part time job there reading books to children. story telling seems to be something that you have become increasingly good at.
I, as a breeder and a busy person, would be peeved if I had taken the time to answer a half dozen e-mails about my dogs, etc. Just to find out it is a 15 year old just looking for something to learn about.
I have never e-mailed with you, so I dont know if you are perceiving yourself as interested in purchase or the truth about your age, but hopefully you are being upfront. Most breeders will want to talk directly to the parents of the house who have the actual control over what happens, not the child.
Just a heads up to the responses you may get from breeders once the they realize whats up.
i never thought about that dusty.I volunteer there to put the books on the shelves.i love reading. Thanks for the suggestion
When i was going to get a dog,I was making the purcahse,my parents were only signing the contract. My dad tells me if I want a dog,I have to find the breeder, talk to tehm and have the money to uby it,then he will take me to pick it up.The breeders I talked to know how old I am.My first email to them Im not going to tell them my age, just ask questions about their dogs.

I understand, but I still require speaking with the parents prior to and during purchase. As parents have the ultimate control over the house. Who's to say that a parent wouldnt get upset when the teenage kid gets in trouble and decide as punishment that the dog has to go. I need to know the parents are as involved in the decision and understand that a pet is forever not a disposable item when it is more convenient.....you understand that part I'm sure.
