Sasha is 3 and Zoey is 1 - I never really noticed when Sasha stopped growing. But sometime between 2 and 2 1/2 she all of a sudden looked like and adult dog. They are Miniature Schnauzers - Hope that helps..

Dogs normally reach their height or "as big as their gonna get" at 7-12 months, but keep growing (filling out) until 2 yrs. And they are pups for the 1st 2 yrs also, which means chewing and all that good stuff,,,LOL I have a Rott that turned 1 on April 30th, he weighs 103 and has reached his height, but you can tell he is still growing (filling out) he is going to be a big boy!
Of course all dogs are different, that's just the norm.
all of my dogs stopped growing at about 2 and a half years. but they were all big dogs lab/husky, german shepard/golden retreiver.Friends of mine have a yorkie and i would say she is done growing and she is about 2.
I have shiba-inu and the typically are done growing up by 6 months, in fact my girl was done at 4 months and Tonka was done at about 5 months. They do continue to fill out until 2 though. Shiba are odd though, considering they don't have short legs, the pups are longer than the dams legs by 3 weeks, they grow really fast.
