I get the fact that it's SUPPOSE to be a thorough exam of the puppies but isn't it kinda too rough to be handling the puppies in that manner? I wanted to post a negative reply on this person's video page but I didn't because it already seemed like people were upset and they expressed their thoughts.
Just wanted to hear your opinions about the video clip.
NOTE: It's not the beginning that's the problem, it's towards the END that is a bit disturbing.

I watched the video clip. I have to admit it did look a bit odd. Rather like he was enjoying how the pups were crying when separated from their littermates.
Now I'm not a breeder and have no knowledge of how to handle newborn pups. However I would have held them close to me and soothed them with my voice! I didn't see what possible test that could have been for?
WTH is wrong with that guy!!!??? I couldnt stand the crying! At first I was like, ok he is looking them over, checking to see if they are moving all limbs etc, searching for eachother etc... but then the last part.....definite cruelty , to stack them like blocks and watch them fall over and over...SICK. What was the point?
At first I thought it was a normal, rushed, emergency exam. Then I realized the pups are dry, not at some critical just-born stage. I can see possibly checking that they root around when separated and try to turn right-side-up when held on their backs. Even looking to see male/female but every time I ever saw a vet check a pup the main concerns were its breathing and heart rate. I didn't see any stethoscope in the video. There is absolutely no reason to drop a tiny pup like that even from just a few inches high. If it is a normal exam kind of thing why is it called "Puppy Torture"? What kind of sicko is that person.
I noticed something else. No self-respecting vet or vet tech would do an exam with such dirty fingernails. The person lists themself as being from the US but his/her other videos have voice and it is definitely not American being spoken.
It wasn't that odd to me, after all, it could have been just part of an exam. The person examining could have tested any number of things before the camera started rolling, after all. That being said, I still don't understand the piling them up like blocks mentality.
I'm going to give the examiner the benefit of the doubt. I don't think it was a cruel act.
*After all, something entitled Puppy Torture could have been SO MUCH WORSE than somebody putting them in a heap after examining them.*
