when we woke up this morning i went outside to get dolla. he was at the fence and there sat a pie tin someone had throw over the fence.when we got out there he had already ate what was in it.i looked at it and there was something dark like almost black in the bottom of it.i took it away from him and called mom she said when she gets home she will fall a police report.they had to be up to something to do it in the middle of the night.he will not be outside anymore alone b/c i really think the neighbor i wrote bout earlier is doing it mom is going to go talk to his wife and him when she gets home.they arent home now or i would myself
if there was something black in the bottom of the tin, don't you think they could have just burnt the pie and didn't know what to do with it so they gave it to him?
I would really stop jumping to conclusions, until you know the facts. Who knows, it could not have even been them if it happend in the middle of the night. You didn't see it and you don't know for sure.
I agree with Scenic,,,you have been coming to your own conclusions about this neighbor of yours for a while now. Filing a police report with out evidence or proof is completely irresponsible, and they police may not even take it.
It could have been anything in the pie tin like scenic said, you need to chill out.
how is he acting, if it happened this am, he should be showing signs by now. Is he still eating/drinking?
If you really think he was poisioned, why wouldn't you have taken him immediately to the nearest vet? Along with what was left of the pie tin? That's the 1st thing I would have done with a dog that I love. Something sounds fishy about this. CeCe
It wouldn't hurt to have a bottle of syrup of ipecac (that is misspelled) around, it's a medication you give that will induce vomiting...Your pharmacist will know what it is. Since you are having a problem with your neighbor, assume that they will try to poison your dog and get the syrup today for "Justin" (just in case)
I second Jackie's answer-Peroxide. My vet told me, "If you ever think your dog swallowed something it shouldn't have, give it peroxide till it pukes its guts up." I just can't believe that if she really thought it was poisioned, she would take it immediately to the vet. She must not "really" believe it was poisioned. Maybe just wanting to dis her neighbor.
cece- jgermansh has recently been thinking that his neighbor is going to hurt and harm and poison his dog because of barking whatever. Either way, I think that these stories are pretty much that. Stories. Ever since Dolla has come up with some issues and bitten and nipped and such. The neighbor has now become the culprit and has teased and tormented this dog beyond belief. I think it is just a way to get an excuse on to the reason why the dog is acting this way.
We will all believe what we want. Opinions are our own. :-)
Question for you.. If you suspect the neighbor is up to no good, then why on earth are you allowing your dog to go outside without supervision?? If I had any suspicion about a neighbor, I certainly wouldn't allow my dogs outside without first checking my yard for any foreign objects. I certainly wouldn't let them out unattended.
If the neighbor just threw some food over the fence, then politely confront them on the issue by telling them you would appreciate it if they didn't throw food over the fence as you are particular as to what you feed your dog.
If you have suspicion about the neighbor, set up a video camera.
he acting fine he actually come in and bit the crap out of me. even if someone was just feeding him why did they do it in the middle of the night. yea it could have been something from the fireworks but we didnt shut them off and as far as i know our neighbors didnt either. if he starts to act even a little funny hes going to the vet now
Did you just say that he bit the crap out of you??? Wow, you need to get this dog under control and fast. I hate to say this, but have you considered the fact that you may have taken on too much with this dog? I mean, he attacks your mom, you have a health problem, he barks when in the yard, and now this?
