wow ruff...that's pretty close to home for you. hope that it doesn't spread any closer. k, i'm going to sound totally ignorant for a bit but i don't know the geography of alberta....is calgary anywhere near you and are the fires heading near there? i have friends in from calgary and i was just curious.
OMG Ruff how could you stand to be outside to take the pictures that would have set my asthma off really quick not to mention burning my senstive eyes. Will keep you and your family in our prayers that it doesn't get any closer to you home.
hahaha....sorry, i haven't really been paying too much attention to the news i had to right 40 report cards for my swimming class. anyways glad to hear it won't be near her house but i'm still hoping it won't get closer to you. remember the floods that went through calgary a few summers ago...it was on the street next to theirs but missed them. lucky.
anyways if you, tonka and ruffian need a place to crash give me a call....only 4 hours by plane... :)
LOL thanks silky because we only have 1 road out of town, that is one way the road north of us just kind of ends, so there will be a lot of notice for us to evacuate, I hope I dont wanna leave the dogs and cat here becasue of the plane, yep I am one of those crazies that would not leave without them, I would feel bad about leaving the dang fish even LOL. Edmonton is 5 hours south and we have family there to stay with, but hopefully it will not come to that.
One of the tarsand sites my husband was at last week had warnings that if they heard the sirens they had to go to the landing strip to be evacuated, that is 1 hour from town, still kinda scary.
