I was just in CT 4th of July and me and my friend brought our dogs with us so at night when we went to sleep we tied up our dogs in the back when I woke up his dog was lose roaming around im not sure if they did anything but during the day his dog try to "do it with my dog" but my dog would throw him off and bite him. My dog is about 11 months old and she isnt in her heat cycle.
Is there a reason she is not spayed? I'm not opposed to people having intact dogs or breeding them - but I think you need to have a good reason for doing both. If you don't plan to breed her (and I mean plan - you should really plan breedings and all aspects of having puppies), I'd recommend having her spayed. It reduces her risk of having mammary cancer, and it also evens out their temperament and reduces shedding.
You may also want to encourage your friend to have their dog neutered. Again, it reduces the risk of cancer - and there are diseases dogs can get from breeding stray dogs or ones not properly supervised by their owners.
Having an intact dog is a big responsibility, and truthfully spaying and neuterings biggest perk is saving your sanity! The only reason to have an intact dog is because they are an excellent example of their breed and you PLAN to breed them.
