My male Boston has a dog in his pedigree that was an International Champion and went to Denmark--and all the dogs are AKC. Then one of his ancestors also says American Champion. All his pedigree is of AKC champions--104 in his 7 generation pedigree, to be exact. (I am so proud LOL)Sounds like they are AKC?
Here is the long story - I have found a breeder advertising that a puppy is sired by an International Champion and I know that her dog has never been shown !!
I know this because I own a litter mate (and do show in AKC) and the breeder who this dog is from is upset because she never showed this dog as promised!!
Now out of the blue - she is advertising that her puppies are sired by an International Champion. As of last month she told me that she decided that she was not going to show the dog because he was not suited.
I am trying to find if there is some "hack" registry that will issue this title ....
I know that AKC does not show international titles on their pedigree as I have an import :) But all the titles are shown on his FCI pedigree and internet as well.
I think this breeder is ripping people off and I want to get information to sumbit to the AKC.
Is there a link where I can get a list of shows that would qualify for International titles? I know it takes 3 CACIB under several different judges.
