I have a 10 week old puppy that we received from a breeder that has some health issues. We don't want to return the puppy to the breeder, because they didn't take very good care of the puppy in the first place, they fed it spicy sausage and that tore up his stomach for days. We don't want to take him back.
He seems to have wobbly spells, and his head will cock to the side alot, and he'll walk or run sideways. Our vet said that it would need to be tested with many expensive tests. But, he said it was a neurological problem that more than likely cannot be cured.
Has anyone had any problems with this type of thing?
The puppy will be playing with our other puppy, and all of a sudden he will kind of fall over and his head will seem to curl up and eventually if you hold him still he will straighten out. We can't bear to see him this way, but hope he is not in any pain because he eats, sleeps and plays normal. Any insight on this?
