Everytime I feed the dogs, it is a battle. The puppies prefer to eat Macy's food, and Macy prefers the puppy food. Macy is FAR from overweight, and is very active. Would it be bad to just buy only puppy food. I figured that this would be the better option than the puppies eating only adult food. What do you think?
I had the same problem with my 8 year old Silky terrier eating my 4 month old Keeshond's puppy food. When I asked the vet about it, he said just feed adult. I compromised, though, and bought Canidae, which, beyond human-grade ingredients (yeah!), has an "all life stages" formula. It's supposed to be good for both puppies and seniors as well as adult and working dogs. You could try that, but its a little hard to find.

When we got Maggie, Max was ready for adult food, but prefered puppy food too. I just fed them both, even the 13 year old border collie puppy food. They didn't get fat, they eat adult food finally, Maggie turned 1 in June, just go them off puppy food.
