My puppy, Chili Pepper sits up on her haunches with her front paws off the ground and everyone goes "OHHHH CHILI PEPPER YOU ARE SO CUTE!!!" and she gets hugs and pets and scratchies....so then she does it again! What does your dog do to get MORE attention, and then does it over and over again, and nobody gets tired of it? Also, my female dog, Ellie Mae, when she wants to get out of the ex-pen, will put her paws on the bars and to a BIG stretch and smile!

my border collie mix will just come up when you are sitting down and sit and lay her chin on your lap, and just sit there still looking up at you with her eyes, until you scratch her. my pug will sit his little fat self in front of you and look up at you with the expression only a pug can have when they really want something.

my german shepherd will come up and give you that long nose look that I just absoloutly adore and put his paw on your arm and wait for chest rubs. my red heeler does the butt wiggle dance and mmmm mmm mmmm until you give in and scratch her butt.

Star has pug in her and has those big, dark pug eyes. Whenever I say her name she stops whatever she's doing, she perks up and cocks her head to one side like she's trying so hard to understand what I'm saying. Her big dark eyes get so wide! If I keep talking to her, she'll cock her head to the other side and so on - it's so cute and I'm sure she's totally unaware of it.

chili, it usually winds up to be scratch both at the same time! then my lab comes up with her big brown eyes...."you're leaving me out!" then scratch 3 dogs at once.......

I have a very disgusting, somewhat cute one..... My dog will 'toot' and try and figure out where it came from. She sniffs her butt for a few seconds, looks up at us with this weird grin on her face and leaves the room. Smart dog but I don't think she does it for attention!

scout will o three things to et your attention. 1st she will sometimes just walk over to you and stare at you. its like she is using mental telepathy to get what she wants across to you. second she loves massages so if she wants a massage she will come over and do the famous lean where she leans all of her weight against you so you have no trouble reaching her to massage. 3rdly as i sit by the computer she will sit right next to me looking at the computer then will turn just her eyeballs in my direction. she does this when she is in a playful mood and you can really see the smile in her eyes.

Summer sits and gives you her paw, for attention! And when she's outside(we have french glass doors leading to the garden) she presses her paws against the glass and then moves them as if she's digging, just for attention! Aww... but she is very cute when she rolls over on her own for a belly rub!

Oscar will bring his bone over to me and drop it and then look at me and wait for me to pick him and his bone up so he can chew his bone on my lap while Im on the computer. He also has a stuffed dog that is bigger than him that he sleeps with and then drags out of his bed in the am and drags it over to a sun patch so he can take a nap on it--it is very cute!

LOL carrot!!!! lady does something similar to that.one will come out and she looks back at her behind like *no way did that come from me!!!* don't let it be a day when she has bad gas......otherwise the whole day is spent looking at her backside!!!LOL

I don't get it sunny, what's with the dogs! Another cute but gross thing she does is when she's outside doing her business. I don't mean to stare at her but I have to clean it up, so of course I have to make sure she's finished. So while she's doing her thing she will not look at you, she turns the other way. I honestly think she's ashamed. Yet another example of her kind of being cute but not necessarily wanting attention. What a little lady! *poof* er, wut on earf wuz dat? i gotta make shur it wuzn't me, ok yep it wuz, gotta weve da woom now, hehehehe

LOL what kind of dog do you have? Lady has privacy issues as well!!! she is like you can't watch me I'm BUSY!!!! she needs to pee and poo behind a bush or else it's just not good enough for her. LOL it's good to see my dog isn't the only one!!!
