I have a 7 month old male maltese/toy poodle mix. When we brought him home at 10 weeks old he weighed 3.2 lbs. Now at 7 months he weighs about 12 lbs. We were told he would probably max out at 15 lbs, if that.
Please post pictures. I bet she's a cutie!

Katie is so cute. Did you see her parents before you got her? It's helpful to see the pix as she ages. Geez, I hope Ellee's ears stay dark apricot. Her mom weighs about 6 lbs and her dad weighs about 5 pounds...so I guess she'll top off at 6+ pounds.
Maltipoo Mama~ Your baby is precious! I love her darker ears. I have a Yorkie/Poodle and his ears were real dark when we got him......But they grew out and faded from tan to white....Looks very cute still though......Congrats on your sweetheart! She is ADORABLE.
Maltipoo Mama..unfortunately I didn't ever see the parents of Katie. We had bought another puppy a Maltese x Yorkie like our first (would have been the same father..different mother than our first) and were accidently shipped Katie instead :) We could have exchanged her for the other puppy but we fell in love with her a little too quickly. We were told Katie's mom was a 7lb Maltese and dad was a 6 lb apricot toy poodle..hmmm. Katie is a wonderful dog. She is extremely passive we like to refer to her as the slug and has been so since the time we got her. Her world revolves around cuddling and eating mostly lol. Our oldest dog suffers from VDS (velcro dog syndrome) and is firmly attached at the hip to me. My husband wanted a dog that he could cuddle with so Katie fit the bill :) Katie doing what Katie does best http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b122/Keesha63/CopyofCIMG4077.jpg
WantAMaltese..I read somewhere that with "average sized dogs"...meaning other than toy or very large breeds I guess, by 6 months they are at about 75% of their adult weight. My older dog held her weight at 8.6 lbs from the time she was 8 months to 12 months...so I figured she was finished. Somewhere between 12 months and 15 months she gained one more pound but has not gained further since then (now 18 months). Katie has great potential to become overweight just because she is such a slug. I make sure I take both dogs on 2 x 45 min. walks a day. Kate would be much happier if she only had to do one 15 minute walk a day and could use the rest of the time for eating and sleeping lol...she is the worlds laziest dog....
Keesha, I can't even relate to having a puppy like Katie. She's my kind of dog. :) I think you really got a unique puppy.
Every evening we go on a 15 minute walk as soon as I get home from work and then on a 30-45 minute walk later in the evening so Mason can get his socializing in. He is such a social butterfly and loves making his rounds around the neighborhood. Because of him I've actually met some new people in the neighborhood. Even after those walks he still plays with his toys like crazy when we get home.
