Oh, so this forum is all about favorites? Just like I said, if it isn't what these people want to hear then your opinions are nothing. They can curse and do whatever they want huh? I thought this forum was supposed to be fair and for everyone. If it were not for people thinking different from you all, then this would be a very very boring forum. I know a lot of you care more about dogs than kids, but no telling how many kids will look at that those vulgar pictures.
shiggs - I believe you when you say you haven't fought your dogs, BUT....
You are surrounded by dog fighting culture. You have managed to draw a thick black line that separates you from people who fight their dogs. My experience is SO FAR AWAY from dog fighting, that ANYTHING associated with it looks like it is all lumped together. I think the same goes for several other people on this forum. That's why you keep getting accused of fighting your dogs.
The things you say just bring up more questions. You don't fight your dogs, but you buy/trade with people who do. You aren't involved first hand, yet you know which dogs are doing well in the pit. You intentionally don't ask questions when the answers may be uncomfortable. For you, these are important distinctions. But for many people here they are just rationalizations.
Remember that RATIONALIZE = Rational lies
I wince when I read that you can "flip a buck." I wonder how many pups your friends/family can absorb if they cannot be in multi-dog homes. Who is paying for these dogs? Why are they so valuable...?
You can't tell from pictures where you are or who you are any more than we can tell who you are from what you write. That makes no sense.
If your dogs and 'yard' are clean and in good health-- you should WANT to show them off right? What is the deal?
Most every one knows I am from MI and a few who have been around know more--because I have told them or they have been to my website (which no longer has my address on it for safety) but to think that we can find you from a few pictures is rather paranoid.
Yes i have gotten pups from retired fighters. The pups have higher chances of being game.
Down here people are very tight knit. Everyone knows everyone else. You have to know the right people to hear things like pit updates. I know just about everyone.
Fighting dogs are worth big money. People invest lots of money into them and people put big bets down on dogs. Its a booming business wether you like it or not. No i dont get to personal with the other dog men. You keep track of your business not everyone elses. You start asking to many questions and people want to know why.
I dont breed that many litters. I look in depth into every litter im about to breed. I start looking right after my girls come into heat so everything is lined up next time around.
Most of my pups have gone to dogmen in the area or nearby. Cur adults and pups are fixed before they go to pet type homes.
Some do well with other dogs, some dont. All that comes into play when i am placing them.
shiggs, all of this bookoo talk about.. "no personal info, no pics.. you could report me." yada yada crap, sounds like you've got something to hide to me. Not only that, you could be easily reported NOW, without pictures. It's called an IP address. It comes across the memory board everytime you type into this forum. It could be easily found, and traced.. and sent to police. Soooooo.. nuts to you. I'd be led to think that you deserve even a test visit, just to make sure you're not abusing your poor animals. Bless their souls. People like this make me sick.
Maybe we should put "No idiots." into the rules.

You're mistaken. Hardly ever do you run across a pure idiot on this forum. Most of the time it's just misinformed/immature people. Mad props, you are the exception.
I'm simply stating, you have so much to hide... you can't show pics of your dogs for fear of "personal information" being found. Like I said, a computer savy person could find that out -right now- without you posting any pictures.
Most of us here, are proud of our animals.. they are part of our family.. and we enjoy hearing compliments about our babies. As HuskyHauler said, there's probably so many fighting scars on your dogs.. that you don't want it in black and white.
Get over yourself, honestly. Nobody is really interested in seeing your dogs/house/life.. etc etc. We just find it funny to point this stuff out. Don't give yourself so much credit.
My dogs arent covered in scars. The only one who is is my lab mix that stays in the house. He is male aggressive and likes to scrap with the neighborhood strays when he can. Which is not often. Only when he escapes the house and fence.
Only one of my pits have scars and that is one that has had them since she was a pup. She was the runt in the litter and she like to fight a little to rough with her litter mates. She has a few scars on her head and muzzle but you can barely see them now that she is older.
Just because a dog has scars and scratches doesnt mean its been fought. A friend of mine runs hounds and they get tore up in the underbrush. He keeps a first aid kit on all hunts and practice runs for injuries.
